Most of the University is on the other side of Paramatta Rd, but various buildings – Margaret Telfer, the Medical Foundation Building – have pushed into Glebe and Forest Lodge.

Students and staff of the university make up a sizeable fraction of the residents of and regular visitors to Glebe.
