Glebe is well served by buses. Except for the 370, all these routes start from the CBD.

• route 431 goes down Glebe Point Rd to Glebe Point.
• route 432 goes down Glebe Pt Rd and Wigram Rd, then to Birchgrove.
• route 433/434 goes down Glebe Pt Rd and Wigram Rd, then to Balmain.
• route 470 runs down Derwent, Catherine, and Mt Vernon Streets, then to Lilyfield.
• route 370 runs from Kensington, through Newtown, then down Glebe Point Rd and Wigram Rd, to Leichhardt.

Many bus routes run along Paramatta Rd, from the CBD to various points west: 461, 480, 483, 435, 440, 436, 437, 438.
