Walking
Glebe is quite pedestrian friendly. Only Glebe Point Rd, Ross St, and Bridge Rd carry so much traffic that crossing is a problem.
For recreational walking, one of the nicest routes is along the foreshore. Sydney Council has a historical walking tour (7 page PDF) that covers some of the notable buildings. The Glebe Society publishes a 40 page guide Historic Glebe ($5) and a pamphlet about the Foreshore Walk.
