I would definitely not recommend Alishan international guesthouse. The bedroom and bathroom were mouldy and extremely overpriced for what it was, the service was terrible, the room was serviced once a week and only after we had asked several times. The creepy guy at reception would always ask “is there anything valuable in your room?” on the days that the room was cleaned, not a nice atmosphere! Accommodation is hard to find in Sydney but you shouldn’t put up with the service or price of the Alishan guesthouse.
