Just over the Parramatta Rd footbridge, the Macleay Museum covers natural history and ethnography. Entry is free and the museum is open on Sunday afternoons as well as weekdays.
The building has been broken up to provide space for the School of Biology, but will hopefully be restored to its former glory one day.
